SESSABKS was founded in 2001, when we PRB&M'ers realized that we had, over our then-15+ years, already accumulated a NOTABLE QUANTITY of books and pamphlets printed after our “core stock” cut-off date of 1820, out of our usual subject areas, and/or of kinds NOT sensibly catalogued by our usual methods. Most wasIN ENGLISH and priced under $250 — typically, aLOT under.

In fact we had in our old quarters at Conklin Street anentire floor of such slightly-accidental jollities, all more or less neatly arranged on shelving in “unfinished” but climate-controlled space, as in the picture above;  the challenge beingHow to MANAGE the stuff??  so that it overpowered neither our catalogues nor this website?   How to offer it effectively WITHOUT obscuring our identity as . . .

Into this headachy Muddle —
